12-13 December 2016
As part of our PH vacation last December, we booked an overnight stay at Hotel H2O via Metrodeal. The deal was only priced at PHP4999 and that already includes 2 tickets to Manila Ocean Park.
Since it was a fairly good deal, we ended up buying two vouchers: One for us and the other one for my mother in law & her sister.

From L-R: me, Gab, Ate Marisa, Ava, Criszia, my MIL & Ian
While checking in, we asked to be upgraded to a Supreme Aqua Room for around PHP2K. That way, we got more space and…a bath tub! hehe.

Bubble bath with a view π

The other room wasn’t ready yet so they stayed in our room for some time

The kids were really amazed to see the huge wall aquarium
After an hour or so, my youngest brother, Mark, came over to see us. I am so proud that our bunso is not just good looking, he is also very generous =) He was so kind to lend us his car while we were on vacation. As a thank you, we compensated him nalang with extra allowance. hihi.

Finally met Connie, his pretty girlfriend π
I took advantage of the hotel wifi and sent our photo to Papa… I know kasi that he’s happiest when he sees his kids together.

π
For dinner, we checked out the restaurants on the ground floor. There were some other good options but we chose Gerry’s Grill because we were craving for solid Filipino food!

Gutom na si Ava π
While waiting for dinner, we went out to the balcony which has a nice view of Manila Bay. Ok sana kumain dun kaso it was very humid that evening.
Anyways, here’s what we ordered…

Bagoong fried rice

Kilawin na puso ng saging

Pinakbet (I ordered this one)

Kare Kare (Ate Marisa loved this)

Crispy pata!!!
As you can see, we ordered a lot. We even had halo-halo for dessert. But surprisingly, our bill only amounted to less than PHP3K! Ang sarap talaga magfood trip sa Pinas!

Buurrp!
Moving on…
We didn’t have any plans after so we just headed back to our respective rooms & agreed to meet early the next day for our Ocean Park adventure.
Of course, Gab & Ava were super excited because they can finally use the bath tub.

ready to ‘swim’

Aw, hearing Ava squeal with so much delight made me miss my childhood days.
The rest of the evening was spent inside our room. Gab busied himself with the camera & took photos of the colorful fishes while Ava played with everything that she could reach. hehe.
Then we called it a night =)

zzzzzzzz….
Next up, our Manila Ocean Park adventure….
