Before my birth month comes to an end, I would like to share some photos from my pre-birthday celebration last 11th March.
San pa ba, edi sa favorite beach namin! 🙂

Mamzar Beach Park, Dubai UAE
To tell you honestly, I am not a huge fan of social gatherings. I always feel awkward when it comes to meeting people. More so if I am the center of attraction and I have to entertain my own guests! Tsk tsk.
But my husband was really insistent that I celebrate my birthday properly. According to him, “once a year lang naman yan“. He also volunteered to plan everything. All I needed to do was invite people and he managed to take care of the rest. Ang swerte ko talaga sa asawa ko 🙂
..Food..
Since my husband was in-charged, he chose the more convenient way of hiring a caterer (referred to him by a friend). It was sulit naman because the guests loved our Filipino-themed menu. Masarap and hindi tinipid sa ingredients. The only downside probably was na-late yung delivery ng one hour 😦 Aside from that, I don’t have any more complaints. We got more than what we paid for pa nga because their servings were really huge. Andami pang sobra even after the party!
(If you need an affordable Pinoy caterer, let me know and I will connect you to him)
..Guests..
I was so happy that most of our family and friends really made an effort to come and celebrate with me (except for Papa who had to work that day). See, I wasn’t really expecting a huge turnout of people. In fact, I was even prepared to receive random excuses na hindi sila makakapunta! haha
Fortunately, I didn’t have to celebrate alone. I almost teared up when I realized that everyone who missed our wedding last year were present that day. Though a year late, I was still thankful for the opportunity to see all my loved ones in Dubai together in one place.
Nakakatouch.
Ang saya lang when people go out of their way to make you feel loved 🙂
..Beach..
After a filling lunch, the rest of us went to the beach! It was so refreshing to dip in the super cooold sea water!
..Gifts..
And as if attending my party wasn’t enough, my guests generously gave me these presents pa! I am indeed blessed and loved! 🙂

Ok, I think it’s time to move on and start planning my husband’s birthday on April 6. Makabawi man lang ng konti 🙂
Belated happy birthday Mauh! 🙂
