HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
When I opened my bag this morning, I screamed in delight when I saw this… 🙂
I appreciate the fact that even if we’re already married, my husband still does his best to surprise me. In fact, he’s getting more and more creative! To think that it’s really difficult to keep things from me because the only time we’re away from each other is when we’re at work or he’s playing basketball. But still, nakakalusot parin sya! hahaha
And since I didn’t get the chance to buy him a present, eto nalang ang gift ko sa kanya…
We won the voucher during Al Ghurair Rayhaan’s Zen the spa Pre-valentine event. Luckily, I was invited by Ate Pam, the amazing blogger behind Glimpses of Pam. She generously extended the invite to my husband as well 🙂
Few days before the event, the company’s E-commerce Manager, Ferry emailed me with the event details and re-confirmed if I was attending. Of course, it was my first blogger’s event and I wouldn’t miss it for the world!
The event was scheduled on 10th of Feb, 6 pm. We drove to Al Ghurair Rayhaan directly from the office and reached the venue with only few minutes to spare.
After registration, their friendly staff ushered us in and immediately offered some drinks. We were also served with healthy & delicious snacks. The other guests who came before us already had a tour of the place while we, on the other hand, opted to wait for Ate Pam so we could see the place together.
All throughout the evening, Zen the Spa’s wellness experts offered the guests free rejuvenating treatments which my husband gladly tried.
There were also several activities lined up like free nail art sessions c/o Nefertiti salon, complimentary massages, a game for couples (where we won the voucher) & a raffle.
My favorite part however was when couples were called out to take massage lessons/ tips from the experts. It was like hitting two birds with one stone — we learned to massage our partners while being pampered at the same time!
After the event, Ferry kindly volunteered to show us around. He also called Anna, their head therapist, to accompany us.
I just have to tell you that the place is surprisingly massive! Zen the spa has separate areas for men & women and each area has ample private rooms, sauna, jacuzzi, lockers, and relaxation area. There are also several couple rooms available. In short, they have everything you’ll need for a much-deserved relaxing escape!
I will show you more of the place later when we come for our actual spa date 🙂
By the way, you can still avail of their Valentine’s Offers at Zen the spa:
They also have a Special Coupon to get more than 50% OFF for Aromatherapy and Couples Massage. The coupon is available at this link .
Before heading home, we dropped by Yasmine lounge to have dinner with Ate Pam and Kuya Guchi. It was our first meeting yet we shared stories like we knew each other for so long. Our husband’s also clicked instantly because they had the same interest — Jordan shoes! hahaha
It was a night well spent. Congratulations to Ferry and team for a successful event! ‘Till next time! 🙂
How about you? How did you spend valentine’s day?
