One of the many things that I love about the UAE is the fact that we could go beachin’ anytime of the year. Summer? Winter? Name it!
Few weekends ago, we decided to hit Mamzar beach for a much needed day out. We went on a Saturday and left home early so we could drop by St. Mary’s church. As expected, there was no mass so we just lighted some candles and prayed by the grotto.
Then we were off to the B-E-A-C-H!
We reached the park gates by 11 am and paid AED30 for entrance fee. That amount already includes entrance fee for both the car and its passengers. Sulit naman because the boys were spared from carrying our stuff all the way from the public parking!

We parked the car near the beach and walked towards our favorite picnic spot. After setting up, we immediately fired the bbq and grilled some hotdogs, chicken, & bangus.
Around 1 pm, lunch was finally ready!
Then our afternoon started with a game of UNO. We were only introduced to this game recently so imagine the chaos! We weren’t even sure if we were playing with the right rules so we had to check the instructions every now and then! hahaha
After few rounds of UNO, it was time to hit the beach!
P.S The water was extremely cold! 😉
We had an hour to dip in the cooooooooold water before the lifeguards started calling everyone out. Bitin! Next time ulit 🙂
Mamzar Beach Park is massive! It has a pool area, playground, amphitheater, several picnic & bbq grounds, bicycle track, long beachfront, etc. Best thing? You get to spend quality time with family & friends without hurting your pockets!
